The Champ Foundation

Here at Capital Heat, we know that giving is important. Giving back to your community and giving to noble causes that need our help is part of being responsible contributors to society. Among the foundations we support is The Champ Foundation.

The Champ Foundation supports research toward better treatment and a cure for Pearson Syndrome.

Pearson Syndrome is a mitochondrial disease that causes multi-system organ failure and is often fatal in infancy. It is extremely rare, but likely under-diagnosed due to a lack of awareness even within the medical community.

The Champ Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit run by the parents of William, a little boy named with Pearson Syndrome. They are dedicated to advancing research on this little-known disease. The life of their son depends on it.

Capital Heat is proud to be a supporting donor to this worthy organization. They need help, and we’re just trying to do our part to make the world a better place.

The Champ Foundation is holding a Buffalo Benefit at Buffalo River Works on April 24, 2016.
