An Exciting New Duct Sealing Product – Aeroseal!

Seal your ducts. The right way! We’re pretty psyched here at Capital Heat because we just added an amazing new product to our line. Not everyone can get excited about new duct-sealing technology, but luckily for our community it’s at the top of our list.

Did you know that on average, $.30 of every $1 you spend on heating and cooling your home is paying for heat that has escaped through a leak in your duct system?

That’s right, nearly 1/3 of your potentially several-hundred-dollar winter heating bill is going to the great cause of heating the outside air. It’s a losing battle, but a lot of Americans are fighting the good fight. In the summer, you’re paying to cool down the outside. That’s right – you’re paying to cool down the air in Buffalo. On behalf of everyone who wishes we had another month of pool weather and a little less shoveling weather, we want to encourage you to please stop doing this.

Obviously this is a huge waste of your money. When is the last time you had your ducts checked or sealed?

Leaky ducts have a lot of adverse effects, and the hit your wallet takes is only one of them.

Now without further ado, Capital Heat proudly introduces… Aeroseal!

Aeroseal seals your ducts. Get it? Aero, Greek for “air,” Seal, English for seal. It stops the heated (or cooled) air from escaping your ducts and instead, keeps it inside your house where it belongs.

  • Is your house too humid?
  • Does a musty odor sometimes emit from your vents?
  • Is your bedroom 85° in order to get the living room to 70°?
  • Are indoor allergies becoming and increasing problem within your household?

Duct sealing is often the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to make a drastic improvement to the comfort of your home. Aeroseal seals leaks from the inside out, it comes with a 10 year warranty, it’s safe, and the Department of Energy declared it one of the most beneficial energy technologies for the American consumer.

Now is the perfect time to consider cleaning and sealing your ducts. It only takes a few hours, and by the time Old Man Winter rolls around your house will be 100% prepared to tell him to take his high heating bills and stick them where the sun don’t shine.
