Sump Pumps & Backup Sump Pumps
In climates like Buffalo, it is not uncommon to accumulate water in your basement after heavy snow or rain. A working and effective sump pump helps prevent serious water damage to your house and stored belongings. The pump and basin (sump) work together to collect and pump away excess water. If your sump pump breaks or if you don’t have one, your basement floor can collect inches of water, leaving you with no good way of removing it.
In case of a power outage – or a failed sump pump – a backup sump pump is essential to keeping your system running and prevent flooding. We recommend a combination system of a sump pump with a battery-operated or water powered backup sump pump to ensure your basement stays dry.
